» Sr. Web Graphic Designer
The Sr. Web Graphic Designer will work in a team environment with the VP of Direct Marketing, Web Graphic Designers, Web Developers and Marketing. The qualified individual will create and prepare professional artwork to update, enhance and improve the Performance and Nashbar websites. Must be able to produce consistent designs in a fast paced environment. This is a web design position with an emphasis on e-commerce and designing for a user friendly customer experience in a production environment, not a programming position.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day to day creative and design changes of Performancebike.com and Nashbar.com
Create and maintain frequently updated web content and graphics
Create weekly email graphics and corresponding web buttons for the website
Enhance web content by developing simple multimedia animated promotions and videos
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or similar field or 3-4 years experience in graphic design or related field with a solid grasp of color, layout and design principles
Experience in designing an e-commerce website a strong plus
A strong understanding of website design and functionality for the end-user experience
Knowledge of email marketing principles and best practices
Proficiency with all Adobe CS2 programs and some knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Some experience with Flash, Dreamweaver and Fireworks OR demonstrate a strong technical aptitude for learning new software quickly
Ability to create PSD mockups ready for HTML conversion
Strong attention to details, highly organized, and able to work with limited instructions
Ability to work well and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and produce designs under tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
